The musical journey of Manndakini Bora was inspired by her grandfather, (Late) Sh. Girindra Nath Bora ji, who himself is the One & Only devotee to translate entire Ram Charit Manas of Tulsidas ji in Assamese language. She owes all the attribute of disclipine, ethics, culture and hard to him only.

With more than 02 decades of professional career, Manndakini has been deservingly fortunate to not only share the stage with Late Shri Bhupen Hazarika in her early career, and has also been mentored by Ustaad Ghulam Ali Khan. With versatility in genres like Sufi, Classical, Devotational, Remixes & Bollywood Manndakini has credits of several music videos, albums and Bollywood movies.

Manndakini is known to rock the stage and woo the crowd with her extremely graceful and energetic performance. The playbook singing along with Arijit Singh in Bollywood movie “Sahib, Biwi & Gangster – Part 3”, gave Manndakini another pinnacle in her career. Songs like ‘Kanha Kanha’ & ‘Jai Siya Ram’ have already been listed as Trending one apart from millions of views, there are lacs of reels of the song on Instagram.

With her extended talent to sing in multiple languages including Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali and Assamese, Manndakini is impeccable fit to grip the audience with regional affinity and has performed in over hundreds of the Live Performances in India and Abroad. Her performance in Assamese Version of “Dil Hoom Hoom Kare”, caught attention of hearts and soul.
